Whitby, North Yorkshire
A
real jewel, the narrow cobbled streets lead down to the busy fishing
harbour where you can watch the boats land their catch. The abbey, with
its new visitor center, looks down from the high cliffs onto the harbour
and the sandy beach beyond.
Being so fresh, the fish and chips, called woofs here, are not to be
missed.
