Torquay, Devon
At
the top of Torbay, or the English Riviera, the heart of Torquay has
grown to become a cheerful and popular resort.
Local attractions cater for just about every age group and pace. There
is much to do in Torquay from a stroll along the cliffs at babbacombe,
along the prom or walls of the harbour, from where many fishing and
coastal boat trips leave.
A eye for the past will find lots to appreciate along the Agatha Christie
Mile, Kents Cavern, Torre Abbey and Bygones. While the more active will
appreciate the tropical wave pools of the English Riviera Centre and
the daily bustle of the harbour, pavillion and shops.
