Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset
With
very easy access from the M5, Burnham is very easy to reach for a short
seaside break. There are 7 miles of ruddy gold sandy beaches and dunes,
and you can walk all the way to the historic lighthouse.
The tides are very strong to swimming is restricted to certain times.
The Carnival in November is very popular, after dark the illuminated
floats take to the streets.
