Bude, Cornwall
A
popular seaside break since Victorian times the town boasts miles of
golden sands, some of the best surf in the UK and some fascinating industrial
heritage in the shape of the sea canal.
The canal was built to carry sea sand to the farms inland and is famous
for its inclined planes. Today it provides a picturesque mooring for
fishing and pleasure boats.
