Set in the 18th century house of shipowner, John Walker,
the early residence of James Cook now houses a collection of exhibits
about Cook's Whitby years and his later achievements. Amongst the meticulously
restored period rooms, there are many items of great historical importance.
Features: Historical paintings, prints,
ship plans and manuscripts.

Location: Easily reached by foot from all the main car parks,
the station and bus terminus in Whitby.
