This purpose built attraction celebrates Sunderland's
rich history in glass making through history of its uses from 5000BC
to hi-tech modern fibre optics. The tour includes an exhibition of glass
blowing, for times and further information please see the centre's web

Location: The National Glass Centre is located south of the
beach areas of Roker and Seaburn off the A183. Signposted from major
roads (watch for the one-way system) and is easily accessible by rail.
