Things to do in and around Swanage
The award-winning Swanage Railway currently operates on the six miles of track between Swanage and Norden, through the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.
Visitors to the adventure farm are encouraged to explore and make contact with many of the 50+ farm animals in a relaxed atmosphere. You can feed the lambs and goats throughout the day and sometimes even a go at the hand milking and with both indoor and outdoor play areas, a bouncy castle and pony rides there will be plenty to keep the kids amused.

Reconstructed to 1/20th scale in Purbeck stone is this marvelous miniature of Corfe Castle as it would have looked prior to it destruction by Cromwell's armies in 1646. The model village is set within the grounds of an old english garden which has many rare and unusual plants.
A stroll along swanage pier will give you great views of the Dorset coastline both above and below with the benefit of the underwater camera fixed to the end of pier.
