The Welsh Mountain zoo stands in a 37 acre park in North Wales close to Colwyn Bay. Recent additions include Red Pandas and Sumatran Tigers to add to the already impressive collections of bears, chimpanzees and golden eagles. There's a children's farmyward animal section too as well as playgrounds and eating places to complete your day.
The Harlequin Puppet Theatre is Britain's first and only permanent theatre designed and built specifically for puppets. Family shows are generally at 3pm over the Easter and Summer Seasons and also during school holidays.
