Southend Pier
Southend Pier is famed as the longest pleasure pier in the world despite several attempts by fire to scupper this, the pier has survived and is as popular today as ever. The pier is open daily, except Christmas Day, and if the boardwalk is too much for you, why not enjoy the train ride to the pier head.
