Shanklin Chine
The historic gorge has a drop of some 105ft down to sea level in just over a quarter of a mile. The Chine covers an area of approximately three acres which is a haven of rare plants and wildlife. Illuminated at night, the Chine is transformed into a magical land. Check opening times, subject to season and weather conditions.
