National Glass Centre
This purpose built attraction celebrates Sunderland's rich history in glass making through history of its uses from 5000BC to hi-tech modern fibre optics. The tour includes an exhibition of glass blowing, for times and further information please see the centre's web site.

Location
The National Glass Centre is located south of the beach areas of Roker and Seaburn off the A183. Signposted from major roads (watch for the one-way system) and is easily accessible by rail.
