Morwellham Quay
The historic port, shipyard and copper mine is a faithful reconstruction of the 1860s and in 2006 inscribed as a World Heritage Site. Victorian costumed staff welcome you and take you back almost 150 years through workshops, schoolroom, cottages, museums, quaysides, 'Garlandstone' Ketch, wildlife reserve and woodland nature trails. Also included is the unique riverside tramway ride into the copper mine. Our Opinion: A facinating and "must do" day out for anyone visiting the area.

Ship Inn, Bar and Restuarant, Copper Mine Tram Ride, Period Village and Costume Characters, Quaysides and Nature Trails.

Morwellham Quay is located on the Devon/Cornwall border between Tavistock and Liskeard.
