Jersey War Tunnels
Excavated by the occupying German forces of the second world war, this complex of over a kilometre of tunnels are now home to the award winning exhibition 'Captive Island'. Used in the past as wards for casualties, staff quarters, operating theatre, kitchens and stores, the award winning exhibition now uses traditional as well as state of the art techniques, to bring to life this important period of local history.
