This amusement park has around 50 or rides for children of all ages from gentle merry go rounds, train rides and gentle roller coasters designed for tiny tots through to some new additions in 2004 which will suit all baring the extreme thrill seekers.

Adventure Island is clearly marked on the brown tourist signs from all major roads into Southend and is located right next to the pier, with ample car parking facilities on Southend Seafront.
